Variety is the spice of life - starting with:

1) the traditional Old Potsdam Christmas Market in the historical town centre close to Sanssouci Palace.

Next 2) is the Bohemian Christmas market in Babelsberg's bohemian village.

Then 3) there are the historical Christmas market at Bornstedt crown estate (a UNESCO World Heritage site),

and 4) the Sinterklaas or St. Nicholas Christmas market in the Dutch quarter.

Last but not least 5) is the Sternenmarkt (Star Market) on the Neuer Markt, where our neighbours from Poland will be offering crafts, specialities and a programme of events on stage.

Potsdam's palaces and gardens are among the most beautiful places to visit. Palaces such as Sanssouci and Babelsberg, Cecilienhof and the New Palace are striking reminders of Potsdam's role in German history.
