Freiburg's
Christmas market on Rathausplatz and in Franziskanerstrasse in the
heart of the historical quarter offers visitors a wide range of
traditional arts and crafts, including straw shoes from the Black
Forest and colourful wooden toys. The highlight is the candle
workshop where visitors can watch candles being made to order.
